built on the station.
DESIGNED FOR THE BUSH.
Our story
Stationly was born from the realities of working in remote pastoral operations, where reliable information, clear communication, retainment of historical data and practical solutions are essential.
Developed by people who understand the day-to-day challenges of life on station, Stationly is on a mission to modernise bore run and water reporting and operational communication across Australia's cattle industry.
where it all began
The idea for Stationly didn't start in a tech hub—it started on a cattle station.
After years working in remote pastoral operations, founder Kelly Shotton experienced firsthand the challenges of managing bore runs, monitoring water infrastructure, and sharing critical information across large and often isolated properties.
Like many stations, reporting relied on a combination of paper notebooks, radios, phone calls, spreadsheets, and handwritten records. While these systems had supported the industry for decades, they often made it difficult to access information quickly, monitor recurring issues, and maintain a consistent record of operations.
Seeing an opportunity to improve these everyday processes, Kelly began exploring how technology could provide a practical solution without adding unnecessary complexity.
From that vision, Stationly was born.
Who We Are
-
Stationly has been developed with one simple goal:
To make bore reporting easier, more consistent, and more accessible for the people who rely on it every day.
Rather than replacing existing workflows, Stationly aims to enhance them by providing a practical digital reporting platform that supports communication, operational visibility, and informed decision-making.
Whether it's recording a bore inspection, reporting maintenance issues, sharing livestock observations, water distribution details or as simple as tap directions. Stationly is designed to help station teams spend less time managing paperwork and reading minds and more time managing their operations.
-
Our mission is to help Australia's pastoral businesses improve the way operational information is captured, shared, and used.
By simplifying reporting processes, we aim to:
Improve communication across station teams
Increase visibility of daily operations
Support proactive maintenance and planning
Create reliable historical data
Help producers make informed decisions with confidence
Assist in creating a seemless handover process during staff turnover
-
We believe technology should work for producers—not the other way around.
Our vision is a future where every pastoral business, regardless of its size or location, has access to simple, practical digital tools that support efficient operations and stronger decision-making.
As Stationly grows, we are committed to continuing our collaboration with producers and industry to ensure the platform evolves alongside the needs of Australia's pastoral sector.
-
Practical - We build solutions that work in real-world station environments.
Authentic - Our ideas are shaped by firsthand experience in the pastoral industry.

From an Idea to an AgTech Startup
Every innovation begins with a problem worth solving.
What started as an idea born from everyday station challenges has grown into an emerging AgTech startup gaining recognition across the industry.
With continued collaboration, investment, and feedback from producers, Stationly is working towards delivering a platform that supports the future of Australia's pastoral operations.
We're just getting started.
